EPortfolio Stategy

EPortfolio - Term 2 Shape Strand

Achievement Objectives:
Shape
  • Identify classes of two- and three-dimensional shapes by their geometric properties
  • Relate three-dimensional models to two-dimensional representations and vice versa.

Add pictures or evidence showing your learning of these three learning intentions and reflection upon your next steps.

--------------------

Learning Intention: Know and understanding vertices, edges, and faces of 2D and 3D shapes.

Learning Intention: Create and draw using isometric paper a 3D diagram of a shape.

Reflection:
With the learn and understand 3D shapes I think next time I need to learn how to identify my 3D shapes easier and try to make sure I can know what vertices actually mean and where they are.
With the create and draw using isometric paper a 3D diagram of a shape I think that next time I need to try to understand how to do my big diagrams easier and better and also learn how to draw different positions with 3D shapes.

The Giant Swing

My stomach clenched in my mouth, as I got suspended up high in the air. Without a warning or any type of communication I was choked, my face blew like a balloon and fell into a deep Scarlett red.

Trembling with fear, the silence begins to break and I hear a deafening countdown 3, 2, 1 swing, the rope gets pulled from my harness and instant relieve fuels my body. I shoot up into the sky like a rocket getting launched into space!

As I swiftly swing back and forth like a paint brush painting a wall, I look at my surroundings and I fell like I am at the top of a massive mountain. My legs dangle beneath me and my head forms a pale white as I come to a final stop.

I reach for the ladder and Jacob removes the clips from my harness and I climb down the steady silver ladder. I finally touch the ground and rush over to safety, panting like a dog I was glad it was finally over.

I think I have shown the goal of using different ways to plan by switching up what I am used to and doing something different. I also think I have worked on using more complex and varied sentences in my writing.
